Hundred Years’ War (1337-1453 CE) (1 gen 1337 anni – 1 gen 1453 anni)
Descrizione:
The war between England and France consisted mainly of a series of random sieges and raids and lasted for 116 years. The war was over a series of disputes, including the question of the succession to the French crown. Although the English had an advantage, France won the war due to the efforts of a French peasant girl, Joan of Arc. Her visions and military leadership revived French fortunes and led to victory. The war inflicted misery to both sides with famine and the Black Death along with invaders.
