The Victorian Era took place between 1832 and 1901.Victoria was queen in UK during this period. She became queen 1837. The rest of Europe called the period La Belle Epoch.
Political reforms in Europe, The reform bill 1832 gave some people the right to vote. Nonconformist churches appeared in UK.
Britich global imperial expansion which made the British Empire the largest in history, they controlled over 25% of earth's surfice. Due to this great denographics changes appeared, and a lot of people immigrated. This gave the Brittish great trading oppertunities andindistrial supremacy.
The literature during this era started to florish, the stories was sentimental and the stories included double standards. Female writers became more common for example Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters. Other writers that is famous from this period is; Emily Dickinson, Walt Withman, Charles Dickens, Oscar Wilde.
