During this period King Henry VIII was the king of England. This king was considered as a playboy because he alwasy got remarried and loved new women. The Church of Rome did not accept the fact that he wanted to get remarried so often, and this made him not happy. King Henry VIII cut all his ties to the Church of Rome and established his own Church, named The Church of England were he made himself the supreme head of the Church. The turbulent time in England was during this time.
