In French Renaissance means “rebirth”. The beginning of the Renaissance is considered to be in 1492 when Colombus “discovered” America. However, other well-known members of society played a great factor. Foremost, in Italy where people such as Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Petrarch where ongoing with their individual projects that evolved the world. Beside from that, around the world the idea of classical learning and wisdom started once again to flourish. Given the horrible circumstances during the Middle Ages that saw the decline in culture and stagnation.¨
It was also during the Renaissance where the concept of humanism was introduced. Each individual started to think rationally and logically, not only going by what the church said. When it came to resources, almost everyone had access to nourishment. As a result there wasn't any need of survival instinct. A number of the population began to prioritize other things, and led to exploration and discovery of new contintens. Europeans could take part in different culturals, not being limited to their own culturals. Consequently, growth of commerce and trade expanded. Additionally, new invention as paper, printing, the mariner's compass and gunpowder. Furthermore, the progress made in physics, and math. Simply put the world globalized.
