A period of time in European History where people began to question the norms of science. They began to move away from just accepting what the bible says and what the Greek Scientists said. Once the bible began being questioned, people also looked at whether monarchs truly had divine rights to rule, or whether they could actually be overthrown by the people if they so wished.
