Red Scare (1 gen 1947 anni – 1 gen 1957 anni)
Descrizione:
A period of ten years when the United States government was afraid of any communist spies being in the U.S. Many people would not say if they were a spy or not, however, some did give themselves up or eventually get caught as being a spy for the Soviet Union. Shortly after questions came about Russian spies, Truman signed executive order 9835 also known as the Loyalty Order, which made certain that all federal employees be analyzed to determine whether they were actually loyal to the government or whether they were loyal to Soviet Russia.
