First Restorations of Old Jeddah Houses (1 gen 1980 anni – 1 gen 2000 anni)

In the 1980s and 1990s, were launched the first restorations of traditional Jeddah houses with the support of British consultants, Tunisian and Egyptian craftsmen and architects, the active involvement of a group of Jeddawi passionate
and committed architects and historians. The last remaining local craftsmen contributed to this process that continued during the following decades though at a somehow slower
pace.
