Castoglione wrote The Book of Courtier during the Italian Renaissance. The book analyzes the ideal courtier, with an emphasis on new ideals. It goes into detail about the proper etiquette, manner, behavior and morals a royal court member should have. This book helped spread Italian humanism into major countries like England.
