Descrizione:

A king with an absolutist belief and a dislike of the intervention of the House of Commons. Didn't uplay the majesty of rulership like Elizabeth. He disliked having to meet the crowds who wanted to see their new ruler saying he'd drop his breeches “so they can cheer at my arse.” Former king of Scotland, and a staunch believer in divine right theory. He disliked parliament because he saw it as an obstruction to the divine rule that he excercised.
