The English Civil War was a religious and political dispute over the government on England regarding power of Parliament and King Charles I. After many battles and faulted reactions, Charles I was executed, which ultimately led to Parliament holding primary power over England. The English Civil War is grouped as SP due to the change in political structure of the government in terms of distribution of power.
