Council of Trent (28 feb 1545 anni – 25 marzo 1563 anni)
Descrizione:
The Council of Trent was one of the most important factors during the Catholic Reformation, however, in the end it was unable to form a compromise with Protestant churches and its final decree reaffirmed traditional Catholic teachings in opposition to Protestant beliefs. The formation of the council in order to fix the issues within the church and to help the people reconnect with the religion and its leaders, allowed for a new form of governing in the Catholic church to arise, creating a more integrative system that relates it back to the AP theme (SP).
