Delhi Sultanate (9 dic 1206 anni – 9 ottob 1526 anni)
Descrizione:
The Delhi Sultanate was established in the wake of the collapse of the Gupta Empire, when Muslim rulers had no difficulty in raiding conquering the scattered kingdoms. Temples were destroyed and mosques were built, but Hindus had the option of paying in exchange for not being persecuted. The Sultanate collapsed after the territories broke up and internal conflict grew after the rule of Raziya, but the influence and presence of Islam remained.
