The Qin Dynasty was the first Chinese dynasty. The Emperor, Qin Shi Huang, built new roads and walls all throughout the Kingdom, which was the start of the Great Wall of China. He also called for standardized laws, currencies, and measurements - they even had standardized Chinese script!
