The persian Gulf was a war fought between America and Iraq. Saddam Hussein commanded the invasion of Kuwait in August 1990 . This invasion triggered a conflict involving an international coalition of forces led by the United States. It all began with a big U.S.-led air offensive which is called the Operation Desert Storm.
