Ibn Battuta's Journeys (25 feb 1304 anni – 1 gen 1369 anni)
Descrizione:
Ibn Battuta was a Morrocan Quranic judge who traveled all over the Islamic Empire, as well as many non-Islamic regions. The book he wrote about his travels is one of the best resources for information on medieval civilization ever. When he was 21 he set out on his Hajj but did not return to his native Morroco for 24 years. He is commonly compared to Marco Polo, however his travels were significantly more extensive, and much less embellished.
