Heian Period (1 gen 794 anni – 1 gen 1185 anni)
Descrizione:
The Heian Period was the final period of classical Japanese history. The period is named for Heian-kyo, which is now known as Kyoto, and was, for a time, the capital of Japan. During this period many Chinese influences were extremely common, including Buddhism and Taoism. The Imperial House of Japan had the semblance of ruling, but the state was truly controlled by the Fujiwara clan (cough, Lannisters, cough), a family of aristocrats who had married into the Imperial family.
