Descrizione:
A series of Acts passed by Parliament in response to the Boston Tea Party including: The Revenue Act: which was a tax on lead, glass, paper, paint, and tea while making it legal to search property without a warrant for illegal smuggled goods, the Indemnity Act: was when tyhey lowered the tax on the east India company so they could profit more but it also hurt the colony's ability to sell tea of there own due to price, the Quartering Act: Where soldiers were required board in barracks and in public spaces if there was no space and were the colonists were required to feed them, Restraining Act: and the Port Act which closed Bostons port until they payed the 10000 pounds from the tea that was dumped back.
