Silly Putty was invented in 1943, James Wright was an engineer at General Electric who invented Silly Putty, the invention of Bouncy Putty, later renamed Silly Putty, happened accidentally. James was working at him job with silicone oil-a clear, gooey compound composed of silicon bonded to several other elements. By substituting silicon for carbon, the main element in rubber, James wright hoped to create a new compound with all the flexibility and bounce of rubber. Next is the Scuba tank, invented in the same year of the silly putty, 1943 also known as during World War 2, the great invention, the scuba tank, was invented by acques-Yves Cousteau. Jacques-Yves Cousteau was a French naval officer, explorer, filmmaker, scientist, photographer, author and researcher who studied the sea and all forms of life in water. The next invention is the microwave, the microwave was invented in 1946, by Percy Spencer, Percy was an American physicist and inventor. he was working, for the Raytheon Corporation, was working on magnetrons. One day at work, he had a candy bar in his pocket, and found that it had melted. He realized that the microwaves he was working with had caused it to melt. If he wouldn't of went to work or something like that we probably wouldn't have the microwave, which i use like everyday. Last but least, the spray cans was invented in 1949, by Erik Rotheim, Erik was a Norwegian professional chemical engineer and inventor. He is best known for invention of the first aerosol spray can.
