Descrizione:
Culture of New England and Atlantic Canada. Use large quantities of ochre, usually red, to cover the bodies of the dead and grave goods. More elaborate burial culture than any subsequent culture in the region. Year-round settlements relying on fishing, hunting and gathering. Stone and bone tools but no pottery.
