Another Culture that arose in the Archaic Period
This culture in the northern parts of the continent (the Canadian Shield region / aka Nunavut Region.) is believed to be directly ancestral to the historic Algonquian-speaking tribes. They adapted to the northern forests and exploited large mammals and marine resources.
