The NAACP was established by an interracial group of activists. They sought to end racial injustice by securing the political, educational, and social rights guaranteed b the U.S. Constituton for people of color and remains a leading advocate for racial equality and civil liberties through grassroots campaigns and legal action. Their goals were to secure Constitutional Rights, Combat Racial Discrimination, and to advocate for ivil Liberties.
