The Blitz was the Battle between Germany and Britain. it was one of the biggest bombing battle's in WW2~ The 'Blitz' was a day bombing attack but then overtime the Axis thought it would achieve more if it became a night attack
~ The Blitz started because the Battle of Britain had failed
~ The Blitz ended because the Germany airforces were sent east to prepare for the invasion of Russia
