Martin Luther King jr. is an African American pastor and civil rights leader who fought for equality and justice. He believed in nonviolent actions to achieve change, something he learned from Mahatma Gandhi. Martin lead many protests and speeches to fight against unfair treatment. One of his most famous actions, is "I have a dream". He gave this speech during a big march in Washington D.C. in 1963. The speech shared his dream of a world where people are treated equally, regardless of their skin color. This speech has inspired many people and raised awareness of the fight for civil rights. Martin Luther King jr. still has a great impact on people today. His speeches encourages people to stand up against injustice and fight for equality.
