Romanian and Taspern, two brothers from the court are chosen to replace Vimarhys as king. They are chosen by the Duke of Neris as the younger brother Romanian V's daughter is betrothed to his son Faeros. Taspern was killed in a hunt in Zoi leaving Romanian as sole king.
