Chernyakhov/Kiev Culture (1 gen 150 anni – 1 giug 450 anni)
Descrizione:
In the 3rd century A.D. German Goths began migrating down through Poland to Western Ukraine and modern day Romania. These tribes would further divide between Visigoths (West) & Ostrogoths (East).
This mix of Gothic & Slavic culture is known as the "Chernyakhov Culture". North of the Ostrogothic territory was the Kiev Culture.
The Huns invasion in 376 from the East through the Pontic Steppes displaced many Gothic tribes. The Goths proved victories in 454, and were permitted to form their own kingdom by Rome in Hungry. Marking their departure from Ukrainian lands.
