Riots caused by malfunctioning infrastructure targeted during data hacks caused large-scale chaos, which was only ended when Communion forces broke up the fight and placed Sol and Tau Ceti. This disinformation would linger on for hundreds of millennia and later cloud the origin of the Terran Sophonts.
