- Recognized 1st time the political and administrative functions of the company
- Bengal --> Administration to be carried out by the Governor General of Bengal and a council consisting 4 other members(Warren Hasting+others) --> Majority Rule
- Governors of Bombay and Madras presidencies made subordinate to the Bengal
- Control on Court of Directors --> submit all correspondence regarding revenue affairs, and civil and military administration to the government i.e ****1st time the British Cabinet was given the right to exercise control****
- SC of Calcutta with 1 CJI and 3 Judges of Judicature established with original and appellate jurisdictions

- Whole system based on checks and Balances
- Prohibited the servants of the company from engaging in the private trade or accepting presents or bribes from the 'natives'
