2 Samuel 17:27-29After David deposed Hanun as king over Ammon, he placed his younger brother Shobi as a ruler instead. Shobi presumably served as a loyal vassal to David.
Shobi helped David as he fled from his son Absalom, delivering many supplies to those who were with David.
