Descrizione:
1 Kings 19:15; 2 Kings 8:7-15; 13:3-5, 22-25Hazael killed Ben-Hadad and took the throne for himself.
Years later, Hazael led his armies into battle against Jehoram, king of Israel, and Ahaziah, king of Judah. He held off the Assyrian's and took a number of Israelite and Philistine cities. He tried taking Jerusalem but failed to succeed.
Hazael also launched attacks against Jehoahaz, king of Israel.
He later died and was succeeded by Ben-Hadad, his son.
