The Black Hunger was caused by the Quarantine of Bronkasla or Saudam's Quarantine which was due to the Redpox Epidemic in Bronkasla.

Saudam had blocked all forms of movement into Bronkasla and out of Bronkasla, most notably being trade. This cut off Bronkaslum entirely from the world, fully isolating them from everything going on. Food, water, necessary supplies, etc. were not allowed to be transported into Bronkaslum nor out of it. This caused the region to starve as most of their farms were destroyed during the Sukam StialamBronkaslot.

When the quarantine ended, the famine was so bad that no matter how much food was given, people were still starving. It wasn't until the reign of Tusam Ẽndevkam Targandam in the early 900s that the famine slowly fizzled out.

The Black Hunger killed around 3-8 million deaths in Bronkasla, forever affecting the region.
