Mycenean Civilization (1 gen 1400 anni a. C. – 1 gen 1200 anni a. C.)
Descrizione:
The Mycenaean civilization, flourishing in ancient Greece from roughly 1600 to 1100 BCE, was a preeminent culture known for its impressive citadels, such as Mycenae and Tiryns, and its association with the epic poems of Homer, the Iliad, and the Odyssey. Mycenaeans were skilled warriors and traders who established a powerful maritime network across the Mediterranean, including connections to Egypt and Anatolia. They employed a script called Linear B for record-keeping, which has been deciphered and provides insights into their administration and economy. The Mycenaean civilization ultimately collapsed, possibly due to invasions or internal strife, marking the end of the Bronze Age in Greece
