Descrizione:
Judges 12:8-10Ibzan judged Israel immediately after the death of Jephthah. He sent his 30 daughters away to be married off, and found wives for his 30 sons from other lands.
Ibzan lived in Bethlehem and judged for seven years. It is uncertain whether he was from the tribe of Judah or Zebulun.
Extra Detail:
The Talmud asserts that Ibzan is the same person as Boaz, thus making Ibzan a ancestor to Jesus Christ.
