As America was in a globalist mindset, the people began to make a change in their lives. America was fighting in fear against communist since they were very strong believers of capitalism. The Cold War led to lots of changes in American history. For example, highways were made (Interstate Highway System), so families could move into the suburbs during the 1950s. Additionally, America had to intervene in the Middle East for their oil after the advancement of technology. New digital technology was being made such as cars, cellphones, and more, which required things that could only be found in other parts of the world.
