War of 1812 (18 giug 1812 anni – 18 feb 1815 anni)

Descrizione:

British vs US. Started because British practice impressment on US ships, and US expand territory into Spain (an ally of Britain). Ended in 1815, not much territorial shift. Not that successful for US in terms of fighting, but greatly increased national morale and unity.
Note: Federalists opposed, Democrat-Repub support.
