King of Israel
He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord; he worshiped false gods as his father Ahab did. Ahab was paying tribute to, King Mesha the king of Moab. Joram was sick and tired of paying tribute to him, so he rose up against the king of Moab, to attack him. He asked king Jehoshaphat king of Judah to come with him to war; with the Moabites. They traveled in the wilderness of Edom. On the way they ran out of water, Jehoshaphat asked for a prophet of the Lord. Jehoshaphat asked Elisha the prophet to come; and Elisha said that the Lord will fill all the dry pools with water, and he also said that they would win against the Moabites . In the morning there was water in the pools and the Moabites thought that the Israelites and Judah had killed each other; because the water in pools looked like blood. And they won the war against the Moabites.
