Jehoahaz reigned in Israel for 17 years. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord and walked in the way of Jeroboam I. He lead Israel into worshiping golden calves like Jehu his father. God shrunk his army to 10 chariots, 50 horsemen,100,000 foot soldiers.
Extra detail: The Lord kept giving Israel into the hand of Hazael king of Syria.
