Moved Mesoamerican focus to Mexico, where lands were less fertile. They kept on agriculture by trapping silt carried by regional rivers. So basically they had artificially fertile lands, which made productivity skyrocket.
Largest agricultural village at the time
Temples, palaces, marketplaces, workshops, neighborhoods (all of these by the dozens; some by the hundreds)
PRIESTS were a big deal, seemingly ruling Teotihuacan in the name of gods
Long-distance trade in obsidian tools and art and orange pottery.
