Descrizione:
A farmer uprising in Massachusetts led by Daniel Shay against the state government and tax collectors who were enforcing high taxes during an economic crisis. The inability to stop the rebellion was used as evidence for the reform of the Articles of Confederation. It highlighted the weaknesses of the Articles and led to the U.S. Constitutional Convention.
