Descrizione:

Polybius was a Greek Stoic author who was captured and brought to Rome. He wrote Histories, a universal history of time, using a scientific approach. Highlights of this work include a detailed explanation of the Roman system of government and his analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of democracy.
