Earliest things we have: +- 2500 B.C.E.
Indus river is also pretty fertile, though more violent and unpredictable than the Nile. It's good for trade, travel, and communication (guess what this leads to)
Agriculture, yes! They cultivated wheat, cotton, and barley;
meat from cattle, sheep, goats, and chickens.
Main cities: Harappa and Mohenjo-daro
City walls and centers
Probably politically prominent
The Great Bath!
Influenced everyone else to the point of brick measurements
(more than 1500 other (much smaller) settlements)
Lots of social functions (different jobs), it was actually a very organized place
Class distinctions: rich/poor
Religion: fertility
Killed nature and died (sound familiar?)

Influence future societies (somehow)
