Descrizione:

The Eastern Front was the one Russia fought on against Germany and its allies. At first, the Russians were not doing so well there, until 1916, when they began to achieve several victories. However, the social and political instability in Russia led to the Bolsheviks seizing power, which meant they had to try for peace. They signed a treaty with the Central Powers, the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, ending the fighting on the Eastern Front.
