Jeremy begins working on Sunday, November 8, 1987. Jeremy receives messages from his boss, Phone Guy, to talk him through his first week and to help him down his exciting new career path. He advises Jeremy to forget anything he may have heard about the old location, since some people still have a somewhat negative view of Fazbear Entertainment, Inc. Phone Guy goes over how the company is committed to family, fun, and safety, by filling Jeremy in on the new animatronics. He then fills Jeremy in about the first guard's experience and their solution for how to take care of the animatronics.
At around TWO A.M., the music box begins to actually wind down, and it only starts to wind down even faster over the course of the week. They could pre-wind it beforehand, but then what would they be paying Jeremy for?
Jeremy soon discovers that he can use his flashlight on the camera feeds to see in darker areas, eventually finding the Parts and Service room [72] and seeing the classic animatronics in disrepair.
