30 years after the closing of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, the associated events that occurred there are little more than rumors and distant childhood memories. The owners of a local amusement park in Hurricane, Utah plan on changing that by creating Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction, based upon the unsolved mysteries and using authentic relics from the original restaurants. [201]

Notable recovered items include, cartoon posters from the first location, a few Fazbear arcade machines, three bobbleheads of the main trio, that mysteriously moving Paper Plate Pal from 1987 [202], and a LOT of children's drawings. They even found a couple posters of Spring Bonnie from back in the day. Oh wait, actually they did not, that was just a hallucination on my part, my bad. As for actual animatronics, they are a bit lacking. Just the empty heads of Toy Freddy, Toy Chica, “The Mangle”, Toy Bonnie, as well as his right arm and guitar. The original gang are missing their endoskeletons too, leaving them to only find Freddy's head and torso, Bonnie's head and torso, and most of Chica's head in the ruins of the closed pizzeria. Withered Foxy's hook hand has somehow ended up here, revealing the differing FNaF 1 and FNaF 2 designs to be, different, and not supposed to be the same. Despite not being scrapped, and actually still on the loose in town, they apparently somehow found the Puppet's extra mask. I did not even think it was detachable and replaceable, so perhaps it was simply from The Puppet Carver instead?

How the attraction will actually work is that people will enter from one side of the building and exit on the other side, past the security guard. That is right, the security guard will be featured as part of the attraction itself for what looks to be a constant full day's shift, meaning double the work value. The guard will watch the cameras to make sure nobody steals anything, or makes out in the corner. In addition to those, he also has the ability to play original voice lines from the Balloon Boy animatronic, in order to traumatize veteran customers.

An unknown man takes up the position of nighttime security guard at the attraction for an unknown amount of time prior to the events of the game. I do not want to just call him “protagonist” or “security guard” the whole time, so I will call him Eggs for simplification, clarification, and humor. [203]

A local newspaper writes about how the place is soon coming to scare people's socks off, and bring back their childhoods in the worst possible manner.

A week prior to the attraction opening, a new office set up is installed. Clicking a blue button on the right checks the security cameras, with the ability to toggle between hall and vent cameras. The ability to press a separate button to seal the vents is removed, in favor of just double tapping the camera [204]. Then, on the far left of the office is the maintenance panel, which can be used to reboot any systems that might go offline, since the equipment is so vintage. It is five seconds for one system reboot at a time, but they can all be rebooted at once in eight seconds instead.
