Bozhou Rebellion (1 gen 1589 anni – 1 gen 1600 anni)

Descrizione:

After the Princes of the Southern Ming (the source of the Prince of Anhua Rebellion and the Ning Rebellion) were calmed and controlled the empire saw decades without a major rebellion (a rebellion with more than 25 deaths). However, in the West, in 1589 Yang Yinglong began a rebellion to make his way East and storm the Emperors palace, beginning a new dynasty in China. After around 2 years however, this collapsed as the Ming army hired countless skilled warlords to put down the rebellion. Most of the rebellion was put down by 1597 however pockets were still in power in the far west. In 1599, the leader Yang Yinglong fled to Korea however officials found him and sent him back to the Emperor, who after a few months of torture made him dissolve and abolish the rebellion in 1600, executing him the day after. Around 15-18,500 died in the rebellion.
