Ancient Egypt had 4 main periods. The Old Kingdom also known as the Pyramid Age, started in 2686 BC and ended in 2160 BC. The Middle Kingdom which started in 2055 BC and ended in 1650 BC, was the time when lower and upper Egypt were united. New Kingdom 1550 BC to 1069 BC, had a lot of pharaohs named Ramses. Late Period 664 BC to 332 BC, during this period, several different peoples and cultures from around the Mediterranean impacted the culture of Egypt.
