The Great Depression (4 sett 1929 anni – 4 sett 1939 anni)
Descrizione:
The Great Depression was an economic catastrophe that resulted in widespread unemployment, negative economic growth, and hemorrhaging of national GDP. The effects had wide ranging political consequences around Europe, and were probably one of the most immediate contributing factors in both the Nazi rise to power in Germany and the popular front government of Leon Blum in France, both responses of very different kinds to increasing malcontent and (often times right wing) violence as a result of poor economic performance.
