Old Kingdom:
Time Period =Approximately 2649 – 2152 BCE
This time period was known as the "Age of Pyramids." It was given this name because King Sneferu mastered the art and methods of building pyramids. Other later Kings would also help in the constructions of pyramids such as King Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure.

Middle Kingdom:
Time Period = Approximately 2040 – 1640 BCE
This was known as the "era of reunification" or, according to WorldHistory, the "classical age" of ancient Egypt. This is where things would begin to improve in terms of quality and innvoatiosn, such as works of art and literature. They also add Egypt went through a period known as the First and Second Intermediate Period, during which two Kingdoms contended for control of the region.

New Kingdom:
Time Period = Approximately 1550 – 1070 BCE
Lots of development had been accomplished both before and during this era. Land expansion, prosperity, works or arts to honor the gods and pharaohs, and so forth. In addition, the new political strategies and power are more stable in general.
