The all-male Canadian group the Pilgrims of St. Michael support the Baysiders and believe in Veronica's visions. Formed for similar reasons, the Pilgrims began their community in opposition of Vatican II and their remove of St. Michael's prayer in church services. They eventually split from the Bayside movement over a conflict of which color berets women should wear while allied with their group. However, it is speculated that the schism formed due to the Pilgrims of St. Michaels disaproving of Lueken's confidence and fame. (Laycock 29) (Our Lady of Bayside – WRSP)
