Montgomery Bus Boycotts (5 dic 1955 anni – 20 dic 1956 anni)
Descrizione:
Although Brown v Board of Education ended segregation in public schools it did not stop it everywhere. In workplaces and public transportation as well as other places it ran rampant. The boycott started with Rosa Parks, and African American woman who refused to give up her seat and ride in the back. Black men and women would be beaten, demeaned, and often times arrested for not following segregatory rules.
