Nicaragua and the Iran-Contra Scandal (1 nov 1986 anni – 1 nov 1986 anni)

After a three person plane is shot down one ma is taken hostage while the other two die in the crash. The scandal than begins on who did this.

-During questioning of the surviving pilot it is found out that he was indeed carrying weapons.

-These weapons were thought to be on the way to the contras in Nicaragua.

-It was also claimed that the US and its CIA was somehow behind the whole scandal.

-The president of the US denied any connections to the flight being shot down but, somehow it was still promoted that the CIA was behind it all.

-After the whole scandal was over with the public did not have as much trust as previously in its very own government.
